U1 Assessment week for Tracker Day 1 - Week Five

 Assessment week

The Grade Threes buckled down to give it their all this week as we tackled assessments, and this they did with their heads held high.

Amongst the assessments, we managed to look at the circulatory system and respiratory system. It was fantastic to see some of the students faces light up when they realised we were studying their organ of choice and its system, one student even went to go and fetch their 'human body' book out of their bag to show to the rest of the class.

Collaborating with their current unit, their artistic skills have been put to the test. During ART they have been designing, molding and creating their organ of choice using different materials.

Amongst the assessments and systems, we visited our Grade 1 buddies for some reading.
We helped out the Grade 2s by answering a survey they created and sent to us via email.
The survey was about technology used at home and at school.

Amongst the assessments, and systems, and collaborations😁... we learnt about decimals and practiced recording the measurements of objects around the classroom. A skill that we are practicing and using, is the ability to transfer our knowledge and understandings to one another, in some pictures you will see teamwork and guidance happening amongst the Grade 3s, great job!

Celebrating our birthday boy, Rei!🎉
