U1 Presentations & more - Week Six

 My Organ of choice

It was time for the Grade 3s to show off what they have been researching and working on for the past 2 and a bit weeks.
We had some very cool oral presentations and displays, which included that of the
brain, heart, lungs, intestines and stomach.

In English, we had some fun with 'broken telephone - sentence run', identifying main events from a text and exploring figurative language.
It was a privilege to have Mr. Didier come in and give us a posture class, which tied in beautifully with our current unit.
The Grade 3s challenged themselves and tested their own limits.
This one is a crowd favorite amongst the Grade 3s because we say,
 "Gluteus maximus', up!"
A bit of teambuilding was necessary.
Last week, the Grade 3s coloured in some random shapes and letters, unsure of the reason why. This week, they discovered that the random shapes and letters form a puzzle when put together. It was great to see how they would alternate between being leaders and followers, thinkers and doers during this teambuilding activity.
Sprinkle Kindness Like Confetti!
Finally, Friday arrived and we were off to Akashi Planetarium.
Check out some of the pictures from our trip today🠋.

We arrived safely and happily at school.
