U2 Oil, Wonder Wall and Presentations

 Diving into my Inquiry

When it comes to fossil fuels and what they're all about, we reflected on the things we know and the things we are still curious to find out. There was a broad range of questions stemming from our Grade 3s, so we created our next layer of bricks for the Wonder Wall and decided to research the answers to all of these.

A lot of fun during our English lessons, the Rhinos were tasked with creating some form of board or card game to play that had to be based on tenses. They planned, and planned, and planned and developed, until something came to life, something they could treasure.
Something new, and green was present downstairs, it only seemed fitting to bring it a bit of colour by means of creative expression. The Grade 3s brainstormed, voted, then crafted away making awesome festive ornaments that are now here to stay.

It was wonderful to have some of our parents come and witness their teamwork and efforts during their double English lesson. Thank you to all who could attend Open Day, it is always fantastic to see all the friendly faces.

In Mathematics, we challenged ourselves in counting, perimeter measurements, negative numbers and number lines.
To end off the week, we hung our really cool handmade ornaments on the Christmas tree!

I hope you all have a restful weekend ahead!
