U3 Interviews and collaboration
Interviews
Our Grade 3s were on a research mission to learn about human rights and responsibilities.
They gathered their research by conducting an interview with a fellow citizen living in their household, and received very insightful feedback.
Arriving back at school, more knowledgeable, they shared this new information with one another. When the students presented their interviews to one another, they noticed the repetition of information, which helped them recognize the universal and vital nature of human rights. Now they are on a mission to research children's rights and their responsibilities that come with their rights.
A very big THANK YOU to all our parents, citizens, for answering the interview questions.
Community Types
The Grade Threes were finally ready to present their understanding based on the specific community type that their group was researching into.
They looked at: communities of place, communities of practice, communities of need, communities of interest and identity-based communities.
PreK & K1 Assembly
How great it was for us to gather in the MPR to watch the PreK and K1 assembly. We learnt about living things and our 5 senses. They even taught us a bit of sign language.
Great job, PreK & K1!
A farewell to Leon!💕
